What we track: Publicly confirmed votes from media members with official NBA award ballots β pulled from articles, podcasts, tweets, and interviews.
Win probability: We project current vote shares across all ~100 expected ballots using a Bayesian model that accounts for sample size uncertainty. With fewer confirmed votes, probabilities stay conservative; as more come in, they sharpen toward the observed trend.
Scoring: MVP uses 10-7-5-3-1 for 1st through 5th place. DPOY, ROY, MIP, Sixth Man, and Coach use 5-3-1 for 1st through 3rd. All-NBA uses 5-3-1 for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd team selections.
